Because the timeline is compact, institutions follow a highly accelerated, practical calendar layout to maximize your surgical and diagnostic acumen:
Month 1 (Diagnostics & Workup): Comprehensive patient history taking, interpreting complex hormonal baselines (AMH, LH, FSH), and IUI, IVF/ baseline transvaginal ultrasounds.
Month 2 (Andrology & IUI Labs): Practical training in semen analysis, reading DNA Fragmentation Indices (DFI), and mastering density-gradient/swim-up semen wash preparation for live IUI procedures.
Month 3 (Controlled Stimulation): Writing customized stimulation protocols (Antagonist vs. Agonist) and monitoring follicle growth dynamics via automated ultrasound tracking software.
Month 4 (Oocyte Retrieval – OPU): Transitioning onto active pelvic simulator training and observing/performing ultrasound-guided transvaginal ovum pick-ups under direct supervision.
Month 5 (The IVF Lab & Embryology): Understanding egg denudation, embryo morphological grading, time-lapse incubation systems, and preparing the catheter environment for an optimal transfer.
Month 6 (Embryo Transfer & Exit): Hands-on mock transfers, mastering the gentle loading of the catheter tube, managing the luteal phase post-transfer, and clearing the final institutional logbook and practical exit exam
On successful completion, fellows will receive a Certification from Esha IVF Fertility, recognising their expertise in reproductive medicine, IVF training, and infertility care.
